This is much more stable current! The Orange wire must be connected to the key-switched +12V wire or terminal on your vehicle. This improved unit works on the  3-wire stator source coil connector (Black\/Red, Red, Green wires) resembling the OEM part, but it is unused and can be left unconnected. It also works with 2-wire and 3-wire stator source coils, regardless of which your stator has.
