Tired of blowing light bulbs? This is your solution!
This 6V AC Regulator also has a smooth regulation map, even at low RPMs. This unique device is the product of many years of experience repairing motorcycles. Usually, this problem occurs after many years. But it is also possible to blow headlight bulbs if the battery is disconnected, missing, or in poor health. If your headlight is powered directly off the stator AC power, then this is your solution.
If the battery fails to take a charge if the bike has dirty electrical connections, more blown bulbs, a defective rectifier, or if the battery is missing or disconnected, the voltage that normally charges the battery is diverted to all the lights on the bike. The headlight will generally blow the selected low or high beam filament very quickly if the battery is in poor condition, poorly connected, or is missing altogether.
*This AC regulator is not intended to replace the regulator rectifier to charge a battery.
Tech notes: The yellow wire ties (T's) into your lighting lead the 6 volt AC lighting lead. The body is the ground. One of the mounting holes needs to be mounted on an unpainted metal surface.
