Re-Designed and Improved heavy duty Ducati 900 SP Regulator Rectifier has a higher power handling ability than the original OEM part. This regulator rectifier runs at a lower temperature than the OE regulator rectifier, which will give more controlled voltage output at all RPMs!
Many older Ducati's have poor wire connections in the wiring harness. This particular regulator rectifier designed the ESR510 to have output wires that are connected directly to the battery terminals. For a plug in replacement unit just like the orginal regulator check out the R515 regulator rectifier, it is just like this one but you can plug it right into the OE wiring harness. This regulator rectifier has a 20 amp fuse which allows you to hook it up directly to the battery allowing maximum connectivity.
