SHINDENGEN # SH236-12. These "SH"  part numbers do change
over the years so it is possible your unit may not have this part number.

Before installing this new regulator rectifier, you must test the readings on your rotor before installing this new part with a OHM meter. The reading between the copper rings on your rotor should read between 3.5 - 5 OHMs.  Anything below is a bad rotor and will take out this rec/reg, which is not covered by our standard warranty.
