SHINDENGEN # SH236-12. These "SH"  part numbers do change
over the years so it is possible your unit may not have this part number.

Before installing this new regulator rectifier, it is a good idea to check your readings on your rotor before installing this new part with a OHM meter. The reading between the copper rings on your rotor should read between 3.5-5 Ohms. Anything below is a bad rotor and can possibly take out this new Reg/ Rec.
