1960-1979 Honda 100 CB100 Rectifier

 [R42a1-M]
 $39.99
1960-1979 Honda 100 CB100 Rectifier

Re-Designed and Improved Rectifier. This unit has a higher output capacity, and will not have the problems that you have experienced with your original version. 7% more efficient than the stock unit.

This rectifier will work on all 1960s and 1970s Honda twins and singles that take this style plug. This model is standard with 5" leads and works on both 6 and 12 bolt charging systems. Honda used different configurations for rectifiers that used this plug so it is shipped with the terminals installed but not pushed into the plug housing. Installation instructions are included.

This rectifier is suitable for all bikes that do not have the voltage regulator built into the rectifier.

Rated at 42 amps while the rectifiers on most of the older bikes were only rated at 12 to 15 amps. This rectifier should outlas the OEM parts by several times under normal operation.

Many of the old bikers (built before the lights on law were passed in 1975) ran a balanced charging system and if you run them with the lights on all the time, they will not keep the battery fully charged. These solid-state silicon based rectifiers are about 7% more efficient than the old solenium based rectifiers (used in the 1970s and earlier) will do a better job of keeping the battery charged. Capable of taking a voltage spike 5 times greater than your bike can make without damage.
